Advantages of using a Piston Accumulator

Capacities

• FCH piston accumulators are available in any capacity between 0.5 liters & 1350 liters.

• Capacity is only limited by pressure and available material.

• FCH standard range is 1 liter up-to and including 150 liters.

• All units are made to order, and can be custom made to suit specific space envelopes.

Pressure

• Piston accumulators are available in any pressure between 5 bars & 2500 bars.

• Pressure rating is dependant on capacity and /or available material.

Materials

• Available in a variety of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel.

• Duplex & super duplex stainless steel, aluminum. 

• All traceable to 3.1.B. certification with 3.1.C as an option. 

Design

• Standard units are designed to BS55oo and can be supplied with Lloyds.

• Release other design codes and approvals can be supplied such as ASME VIII Div1 (not 'U' stamped), DNV & Stoomwezen.

Fluid End Connections

• To suit customer requirements - NPT, BSP, autoclave type, SAE flange face.

Gas end connections

• To suit customer requirements - NPT, BSP, autoclave type, transfer barrier ports, gas charging valves (brass & stainless). Burst disc and fuse plug assemblies.

Seals

• For low or high temperature applications.

• Materials typically - nitrile, PTFE, VITON, E.P., H-Ecopur, Ecotal.
